Company presentation and ECO-solder closing workshop
Imrich Peter Julian (SFM KAI MSS) , Petersmann Manuel (SFM KAI MSS) and Reisinger Michael (SFM KAI MSS) presented Infineon and KAI at a regular’s table of the student associations of engineering (VLM) and materials science (VLW) at the Montanuniversität Leoben. Beside a general company introduction, fitting the audience, also advanced experimental and simulation techniques followed at Infineon, were showcased.
The event was initialized by Huber Alexander (SFM KAI MSS / External) , a VLM member and current Ph.D. student in the team.

The event took place after the ECO-solder closing work shop, hosted at the Materials center Leoben (MCL), where Ph.D. students from Leoben, their professors, their mentors from the KAI MSS team, IFX colleagues from FA and UPD Regensburg as well as other MCL employees had generative discussions on the work carried out within the project that dealt with the topic of lead-free solders.

Firmenpräsentation und ECO-solder Abschlussworkshop
Imrich Peter Julian (SFM KAI MSS) Petersmann Manuel (SFM KAI MSS) und Reisinger Michael (SFM KAI MSS) präsentierten Infineon und KAI bei einem Stammtisch der Studentenvereine für Maschinenbau (VLM) und Werkstoffwissenschaften (VLW) an der Montanuniversität Leoben. Neben einer allgemeinen Firmenvorstellung, wurden an das Publikum angepasste, spezialisierte Experimentielle– und Simulationstechniken, die bei Infineon verfolgt werden, vorgestellt.
Die Veranstaltung wurde von Huber Alexander (SFM KAI MSS / External) einem VLM-Mitglied und derzeitigem Doktoranden im Team, initiiert.

Die Veranstaltung fand im Anschluss an den ECO-solder Abschluss-Workshop statt, den das Materials center Leoben (MCL) hostete. Doktoratsstudenten aus Leoben, ihre Professoren, ihre Mentoren aus dem KAI MSS-Team, IFX-Kollegen von FA und UPD Regensburg sowie weitere MCL-Mitarbeiter tauschten sich konstruktiv über die Resultate des Projekts, mit dem Thema bleifreier Lote, aus.
