In February 2024, Jasmin Hämmerle, a member of our data science group, attended the 4th Austrian Day of Women in Mathematics (ADWiM) that took place at the Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM) in Linz.

She had the opportunity to present her master thesis with the title “Parameter estimation and uncertainty quantification of the three parameter Weibull distribution in the context of the Castillo-Canteli fatigue lifetime model including runouts” which focuses on statistical lifetime modeling with the aim of stabilizing the estimation procedure.
